EXODUS: New Audio Interview With GARY HOLT
August 12, 2010Shockwaves/Hard Radio host Bob Nalbandian interviewed Gary Holt of San Francisco Bay Area metal veterans EXODUS and discussed the band's latest album, "Exhibit B: The Human Condition", Holt's "missed" opportunity to be on the reality show "Wife Swap", classic television shows, the group's hiatus in the mid-'90s, and his idea for a "really sleazy and dirty" side project. "Downfall", the new video from EXODUS, can be viewed below. The clip was helmed by SchneppZone director Jon Schnepp of "Metalocalypse" fame (the animated program about DETHKLOK, the world's most popular death metal band, on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim) and was shot on April 1 on the old set of the television sitcom "Night Court". In addition, it features animated sequences by Los Angeles-based traditional animator Jeremy Polgar.

About getting to work with EXODUS again, Schnepp stated, "I think their music is incredible and they always give me 100 percent at the video shoot. Working with these legends of thrash metal again has been a blast!"
"Downfall" comes off EXODUS' latest album, "Exhibit B: The Human Condition", which sold around 4,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 114 on The Billboard 200 chart.
EXODUS' previous CD, "The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A", opened with 3,600 units back in October 2007.
"Exhibit B: The Human Condition" was released in North America on May 18 via Nuclear Blast Records.
EXODUS will help kick off Ozzfest 2010 with a one-off appearance at the San Bernardino show on Saturday, August 14.
"Exhibit B: The Human Condition" was recorded this past December in Northern California with producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, ARCH ENEMY, KREATOR).
EXODUS recently took part in the "Rust In Peace 20th Anniversary Tour" with MEGADETH and TESTAMENT.
